  • The site at 145 Piccadilly holds a distinguished place in British history, serving as the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth II during her formative years. From 1927 to 1936, the property was the residence of the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother) alongside their daughters, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret. It was within these walls that the future Queen developed the early values and character that would later define her historic reign. Upon her father’s ascension to the throne in 1936, the family moved to Buckingham Palace, marking the beginning of a new royal chapter.
